The TPS DB9 Series is designed to protect any serial communications conductors. High-end pool controls that are connected to home automation systems will typically have a serial output at the pool controller and an Ethernet connection at the home automation processor interface. The DB9 series is the last line of defense for protecting the pool controller from lightning-induced surge energy. The DB9 Series is housed in a DIN rail mountable case that can also be surface mounted. The DB9 Series carries a 10-year unlimited free replacement warranty including failure due to lightning.
